Farhan Akhtar is preferring his co star Shraddha Kapoor and this hasn't gone down well with the remaining cast of Rock On 2
Farhan Akhtar is gearing up for the release of his next movie Rock On 2 which also stars Shraddha Kapoor. The movie is slated to release in November but is making headlines for all the wrong reasons! First we hear that the Baaghi actress was not happy with the way she was sounding in the movie. She has sung for few songs and the results didn’t impress us. She later requested Farhan to ask someone else to sing instead of her but the actor was adamant and insisted on retaining her voice. Now we hear that, not just Shraddha but the entire cast of Rock On 2 is upset with this Dil Dhadakne Do actor but for a different reason this time. Farhan has been promoting his movie with Shraddha alone and this has not gone down well with the remaining cast of the movie. They feel that he’s giving all the importance to her alone while neglecting the rest of them including Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli. According to reports in DNA, the cast feels that the movie is being promoted as Shraddha and Farhan’s alone which is exactly opposite of the first Rock On. While we don’t know how true these reports are, we won’t blame Farhan in this. Sharddha Kapoor is a big star in the industry today. Her previous releases right from Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain and Baaghi have all been superhit at the box office so the decision to promote her as the face of Rock On 2, seems valid. Any movie which has a big star’s name attached to it surely generates makes many eyes pop out. Maybe this is the reason why he is focussing on Shraddha at the moment though he can include others!
